Payments & Fees

Is Monoloque free for artists? +
Yes. Creating a profile and getting discovered is completely free. We only charge a small transaction fee of €2.50 per completed booking.
When will I receive my payment? +
Payments are processed through Mollie. Once the organizer completes the payment, the amount is transferred to your linked bank account. Processing typically takes 1 to 2 business days.
How does the transaction fee work? +
For every completed booking, €2.50 is automatically deducted from the agreed fee. This covers payment processing and platform costs.

Booking Protection

What if the artist cancels or doesn't show up? +
You get your money back. Your payment is held until the event is completed, not sent to the artist upfront. If the artist cancels or doesn't show, you receive a full refund.
How do I know I'll get paid as an artist? +
The organizer pays before the event. Your fee is secured the moment they check out. If something goes wrong, Monoloque has you covered.
Who holds the money? +
Not us. Our payment partner Mollie holds every payment in escrow until after the event. Monoloque never has access to your money directly.
Do I always have to pay the full amount upfront? +
New organizers pay upfront. As you build a track record on the platform, you can split payments. The remaining amount is collected automatically after the event.
Are artists verified? +
Yes. Before an artist can receive any payment, they complete full identity verification: ID check, business registration, and bank account validation. This happens through our payment partner, so their personal details are never shared with organizers or with us.

Bookings

How do I respond to a booking request? +
You will receive a notification when an organizer is interested. From your dashboard you can review the details, then accept or decline the request.
Can I cancel a booking? +
You can reach the organizer through your dashboard messages. Cancellation terms are outlined in the contract that both parties sign before payment.
How do I get in touch with an organizer? +
Once a booking is accepted, a conversation thread opens automatically in your inbox. You can discuss details like setup, timing and logistics directly on the platform.

Profile & Account

How do I upload music or mixes? +
Go to your dashboard and open the Media section. You can upload tracks in MP3 or WAV format. These will be visible on your public profile.
Can I edit my profile after signing up? +
Yes. Your name, photo, genres, biography and all other profile information can be updated at any time through your dashboard settings.

Mollie Payouts

Why do I need to connect Mollie? +
Mollie is our payment partner. Connecting your account allows us to send payouts directly to your bank account after a booking is completed.
My Mollie verification is taking a while. What should I do? +
Verification usually takes 1 to 2 business days. If it takes longer, please reach out to us at support@monoloque.nl and we will look into it.
